Dr. Lori Keeler
Dr. Keeler was raised on a prairie farm with a variety
of small animals to care for.
She obtained a Bachelor of Science in agriculture and a Doctorate in veterinary medicine
at the University of Saskatchewan. Realizing her heart is with small animals,
Dr. Keeler and her husband made the move to Calgary to buy Chinook Animal Clinic.
And now, they have a daughter who “helps” with the animals at home.
Tracy
Animal Health Technologist
After graduating from Fairview College, I worked at numerous small animal clinics throughout
Calgary, and in 2008 did a locum at Chinook Animal Clinic. I was thrilled to accept a permanent
position here in 2010. I have a keen interest in anaesthetic protocols so here at Chinook we
have implemented the highest standard of care for our patients by following protocols recommended
by Dr. Nancy Brock, a highly regarded specialist in her field of anaesthesia.
Melanie – Office Assistant
I came to Chinook Animal Clinic as a volunteer in 2003. I was hired the following year, and in
2008 I went to NAIT to complete the Veterinary Administrative Assistant Certificate. Working with
an amazing team in a warm environment allows me to enjoy coming to work.
Crystal – Receptionist
I have worked in the animal industry most of my life and get great satisfaction out of helping pets
and their people. Dr. Keeler is a wonderful vet who truly gives 100% to the patients in her care, and
she is always there to answer questions, explain something or just to have a chat!
